Jeremy’s main focus as an athlete is triathlon and duathlon. In 2017, he won the M35-39 Standard Duathlon World Championship along with 4th and 7th respectively for his Age Group in the Sprint Duathlon and Long Course Triathlon World Championship events. Throughout the year Jeremy races on a regular basis at both running and multisport events.
Keeping active is a daily part of Jeremy’s routine whether it be running or riding to work or running or riding with his kids to the local playground. He is always keen to support local races and events and can be found most Saturday mornings at Richmond Olympic Park Run, either as a volunteer or runner.
Having fun when racing and training is something Jeremy values, whether it's a Halloween race in costume, thanking as many volunteers as possible, leading a December running challenge or organising a social run and gathering.
In 2018 Jeremy will be an active in the Vancouver run scene, racing at several local events during the spring in the lead up to the BMO Vancouver Marathon in May. He'll then be transitioning to the triathlon season and supporting the BC triathlon & duathlon race series before targeting a late season Ironman triathlon with the aim to qualify for the AG race in Kona 2019.
