Katherine began racing and training competitively in 2004, since then Katherine has emerged as one of Canada’s top distance runners. She has completed 6 marathons and taken 31 minutes off her first marathon. In the 2009 Royal Victoria Marathon Katherine was 2nd female in a PB time of 2:47:27. In 2010 Katherine was First Canadian Female at the Scotiabank Toronto Marathon in 2:47:43. This year Katherine placed First Canadian and 8th Female in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in a time of 2:48:48.  Katherine has been a part of the winning Team Canada for Scotiabank Toronto Marathon in 2010 and 2011.

Katherine also contributes regularly to fitnessgoop.com, an online magazine that covers the latest news in fitness, health and wellness.
